Prior Environmental Training Services teaches the EPA model course for RRP Lead-Safe Certification. If you work on houses built before 1978, you must be RRP Lead-Safe Certified. It is mandatory for:
- Window Installers
- Property Managers
Non-compliance with this rule can result in fines of up to $37,500 for each violation and work stoppages from the Massachusetts Dept. of Labor Standards, OSHA or both.
Prior Environmental Services’ Lead-Safe Certification Training Course covers these essential subjects and practices:

This 8 hour – Lead-Safe Renovator Supervisor Initial training course prepares individuals for the responsibilities of supervising a Lead Safe job site, and includes the Massachusetts LSR certification exam at the end of class.
This 4 hour – Lead Safe Renovator Supervisor Refresher training is required within 5 years of the initial training to maintain your certifification. This training is a review of the regulations and Lead Safe Work Practices and includes the Massachusetts LSR certification exam at the end of class.
